Analog and digital signal processing

This book isn't a very easy read. I just took a graduate level class which utilized this book, and I and my class mates agree it isn't very easy to follow.

This book is definitely not one of the best books I have ever seen to tackle this subject. Many of the derivations are extremely difficult to follow due to the format in which the equations are presented.

I used this book in school, and recently (after several years out of school) tried to use it as a reference to re-learn DSP. What a nightmare; the author has chosen to use a format that I would describe more as an abstract than a book.
